East Devon beaches

Post by shaggybfc »

Evening all,
I'm down in East /South Devon this weekend and was thinking of taking my detector with me. I'll be in Kingsbridge / Dartmouth area, so looking for recommendations on what beaches to head for. I've looked on the East Devon site, but that's not much help to what beaches are available.

Thanks
Andi
XP Deus, 11" X35 coil, WS4 back-phones, remote and an empty bank balance. XP MI 6 pin pointer. Garrett Ace 250 wireless MPow set up.
They told me I’d never be any good at poetry, because I’m dyslexic, but so far I’ve made 3 jugs and a vase.

Using the search facility as suggested by Fred always comes in very handy for this type of question.

Here is the link to the Crown Estate site that gives details beaches they own and
http://www.thecrownestate.co.uk/rural-a ... detecting/

But be aware that a few of these might be let out or SSSIs so always try to double check or at least look out for signs as you go on to the beach.

A lot of councils also allow detecting on their beaches so above is not a full list of where you can detect.
