Detecting in NW or NE

Hi everyone. I’m looking to go detecting for my first time out. I was wondering if there is anyone going detecting over the next few weekends in or around Cumbria or the North East (Newcastle area) that I could tag along with them? I have my own equipment. I’m an anxious to start my new hobbie. Thanks

Hi. You might find it difficult to find someone willing to bring someone with them on their permissions but maybe a beach meet up might work for you? Better this time of year too as it’s too dry on pasture and the fields are full of crops.
