Help first machine
Help first machine
Just bought first cs 3mxi and when I turn it on I don’t get any sound until I turn sensitivity to about 9 on the lawn in the back garden is this normal ? Please help as I have no idea and no instructions

Mine being the older one doesn’t have numbers just black, green and red around the dial, green being the optimum level. The green section is quite far round around 2/3rds of the way so guessing around 9 if it was numbered. The lower end with no sound means sensitivity too low so as long as you get the constant tone and then turn it down a touch just loud enough to hear it is working at the optimum level. Hope that made sense and helps you out

Ye still sitting about 9 but only been out once since I got it, couple of tin cans and a large iron bolt sens set at about 3/4 Thanks

Hi there, the audio threshold will come in towards the end of the sensitivity control range. For optimal sensitivity adjust this control until the audio is only just heard and only back this control off if in an electrically noisy enviroment or in a high mineral area.
