Lost gold ring - River Tay Perhshire Nr Murthly

Wondered if anyone could help. I was swimming in the River Tay and my gold signet ring came off. The river is on average about 5ft deep and know roughly where it came off. It's a wedding present from my wife and keen to recover. Any ideas or thoughts would be welcome.

Hi John,
I'm afraid at that kind of depth you may need somebody with scuba gear. I do a bit of water searching using a Deteknix Scubatector, but with a mask and snorkel I'm only able to search down to about 3 feet. It may be worth posting on a Scuba forum, or seeking out a local dive club?
