Hi
I wonder if anyone could help me out?
I am enquiring to see if there is any metal detector enthusiast, near to me (4 miles from hastings) that might be interested in searching for my lost wedding ring.
I have an approximation (around a 50 sq.m area) as to where it is lost, its in a wooded area, with brambles, etc.
I am more than happy to pay a finders fee on its return.
Please send me a private message if you can help.
Many thanks

I'm sure that some good soul will find it for you, I'm just too far away.

Hi Daxsterlin,
Sorry to hear about your lost wedding ring. I would love to be able to help. I live near Bristol but have relatives in Kent so I am in your area occasionally. Next time we're planning to visit is Easter weekend. I sincerely hope you've found someone to help recover your ring long before then, but if you haven't please let me know.
In the meantime, if you haven't already can I suggest unobtrusively marking the search area? And you mention brambles etc in the search area; heavy undergrowth can make it tough to get the search coil close to the surface so if it's possible to clear the worst of it out that would I'm sure make it a lot easier to find the ring.
Best of luck and please let us know if/when you find it!

PM sent. Feel free to trump me if you are closer and up for it.

Hi Daxsterlin,
I’d love to help, but Fred is a 1,000 times better than me.
You won’t find a better detectorist and I’d take his help and advice with open arms any day.
Good luck and hope you retrieve it..
