New deus remote concerns

Hi all,
I'm hoping that someone can put my mind at rest a bit please. I purchased a deus remote from regton yesterday after owning the lite set up for about a year.
My concerns are that the new remote didn't come in a box, no leads or instructions, no sticker on the back stating model and serial numbers and also a very slightly wonky display (info on screen going down hill).
I will call regton tomorrow as they are closed today but just wondered is this normal when you buy the remote separately?
For just shy of £600 I must admit I was expecting perfection. Any feedback would be very welcome

I guess it would need to have a serial number somewhere (maybe inside) for warranty identification. The display should not be wonky at all.

Just to let anyone that may be interested know I have spoken to Nigel at regton.. What a fantastic bloke, took the time to listen to my concerns and asked me to return the remote and he will send me a new one back (even offered to cover the postage).. I've always used regton and with this customer service that will definitely carry on
