I live in Ellesmere Port, would love to come with you on beach digs, I have started a facebook page called Ellesmere Port & Chester Metal detecting club, I often put up where I am going and should you wish to join me on a dig will do a car share in my car.You can join my page if you wish and share with like mind others.

Don't know how you got on,but as far as I know Wirral Council does not allow metal detecting on any public land including the beaches.

I live on the Wirral also. New to detecting with no permissions as yet. Looking at joining a local club and hopefully getting out on some club digs.
Still looking for my first permission locally, it's not easy getting started.
