Must be someone out there, this kind of offer never happens normally, certainly not to me anyway. Someone must be able to take Macroman's amazing offer :-/

Hi Chris
Hope youve had some replies. Cant believe anyone would not want to take you up on that.
Wish I was closer, I'd be there like a shot, but just too far with roads as is!
Hope you're well and the music gigs are working out.
Take care mate

Hi Len,good to hear from you,and many thanks for your reply.
Well the good news is that one of our forum members has been in touch and he lives not took far from me and my main permission.
We have had a few communications,to and froing and he is very keen to get started.
We have agreed to meet up in a couple of weeks when hopefully some rain will have softened the "sod" a bit !!
And yes it's a shame that you live so far away as you would have been more than welcome to detect on the historical farm lands.
As I mentioned,I've had to replace everything I had in my detecting arsenal,it's bloomin expensive .
When I go out detecting now I will look like the beginning of a new term at school..lol😁
I'm thinking of splashing out an a new MARS "tiger"coil,I had great success with that coil when I detected with my old Makro racer(red)....also very cost effective,no need to worry about coil covers as you don't need them(especially on a rough stoney beach.
I am going to put a piece on the forum thanking all for all their helpful comments.
Well Len,great to chat, have a great weekend, and as always "Good hunting πŸ‘
Kind regards, Chris
