Help in Brighton

Hi all! Yesterday whilst weeding in my garden I lost my wedding ring. I strongly suspect that it fell off as I threw weeds on compost heap but it's massive. I think the only way it will be found is with a metal detector. I seem to have the wrong friends as none of them have a metal detector. Is there anyone in the Brighton area who would be willing to help me find it? Thanks and sorry if I posted to the wrong forum.
