Hi,
I am interested in doing some metal detecting - I’m in Warwick and there seems to be no local groups. I have Tuesdays and wednesdays off so would be best days for me.

Hi.
I'm new to detecting and live just accross the border in Warwickshire. I'd be interested in meeting a small group in the Banbury area if anyone is interested.

Blimey! From one post you basically have a new club! It was almost like the famous scene in 'Spartacus'...
"I'm Banbury."
"No, I'm Banbury."
"Over here, I'm Banbury!"
Good luck to you all, it sounds very promising. With the difficulty in getting land nowadays I think it's certainly a case of 'if you can't beat them, join with them'. If Farmers are going to be approached in one area, its a good idea to know who's approached who so they don't get ten enquiries in a week and as a consequence let no one go on.

Some days it's amazing that I even manage to find my car parked at the edge of the field. But I wouldn't change this hobby for the world.

Everyone wants a "buddy" as long as they bring the land.![Thinking [42/]](./images/smilies/42_EmoticonsHDcom.png)
