Sherds from a medieval and Roman area..

Post by Ollie K »

Hi there, these were found on a site where I found the Scottish William
The Lion, Henry III and Henry V Coins. Also found there were a Roman
brooch and a grot. To me the smaller pieces look Medieval- one piece
looks like it still has some green glaze on it so maybe green ware?
,The bigger rim bits look to me like Roman greyware but can you Confirm
or suggest otherwise? Funny old game the pottery lark..
