1) Which Beach - Talacre

2) Which area - Flintshire

3) Is metal detecting allowed - Yes

4) Is a Permit Required - No

Important additional Info -
Dunes are out of bounds SSSI, car park can flood on very High tides

I've detected Talacre beach and apart from a few coins a found many many bullet casings, beautiful beach though 😉

Hawarden Aerodrome was busy with OTU and conversions on Spifires & hurricanes light bombers during the war, Talacre beaches & mudflats were ground strafing target training areas.
