relic hunter supply ltd

looking to buy a new coil direct from this co , based in the usa, has anyone dealt with them and if so was all ok ,no problems ????

Hi mate. I've never had any dealings with them myself, but looking over their website, it looks ok. They seem like a trustworthy lot.

Can the coil not be bought in the UK?
Reason i ask is import duty and tax will have to be paid, which will bump up the price.
And, if something goes wrong then you will be liable for the postage cost to send it back to the states....
Just wondering...

i just bought from USA paid import tax but it was the wrong item by the time i had sent it back and paid import tax again it cost twice as much as UK

thanks for your posts . regtons sell this coil its the new t2 15"x 12 but when i rang they have them in stock but have no coil cover for them and dont know when they will and it could be a bit of a wait .

So why not get the coil from Regtons,and the cover from the states? :D

In the time it takes regtons to get the coil cover you wont do any lasting damage to the coil, unless of course you are detecting gritty ground, stones, or hard sand every day for a month.....

thats ok then it will be used on pasture mostly ....just had it in my head a cover was essential.

I didn't have a coil cover for my cs4pi for a while, just taped a heavy duty bag over it until it arrived. Didn't look pretty but it done the job ;)
