Neoprene Wellies now in Aldi 22 Mar 21

Post by sweepstick47 »

During my essential shopping today in my local Aldi store, I noticed these wellies on sale at a very reasonable price. They appear to be of really well made and up the abuse encountered when fishing, detecting or gardening etc. Definitely worth a look if you're in the market for a stout pair at the price £24.99! Caution needed here. I bought a pair over a year ago and they didn't last 5 minutes. Kept your feet warm but they split and the heel came away on one foot. Maybe I was just unlucky but the old adage runs true, buy cheap buy twice! [84/]

Hi John, Yes Skellerup are what I have and they won't be cast aside by these Aldi wellies anytime soon [81/] I mention the ALDI offers, purely because it isn't everyone that fancies shelling out £80/£90 pound for a pair of wellies if there's a viable option available for £25. [08/]

I have had a pair like this before. I did tend to get sweaty feet and ankles and the spade made light work of the soles (most boots end up that way unless you have guard on the spade) but they are not bad for what they are.
