Up and running Minelab SE pro

Post by jackofall »

Hi Chaps well i'm over the moon, Steve from msr well and truly did the impossible and fixed my Explorer its as good as new,I'm just coming to terms with setting it up,I've been out a couple of times but didn't really find anything so I've been looking at andy sabisch book.
I'm having a few issues with programs I hope you can help.

i have gathered a few programs from andys book and from the internet but for some reason when I select a program from 1 to 6 the tones don't change, does this mean the discrimination saves as the program and not tones etc ? what the point of that.or am I doing something wrong.

hope you can assist

They are a great detector, very slow sweeps of the coil are to order of the day.
I would love to use one of these, but have an etrac, so cannot justify finding one.
A fine old detector!

I'm no expert but you can only save two programs and what you are referring to are 6 discrimination patterns.
I've joined the Equinox challenge
