I use this on the beach(my only detector) but apparentley it can be used on land,i tried the recommended setting and tried in my garden but it just constantly beeping everytime i go near the grass,is this normal as it is primarily a beach machine.Ihave tried it over different items which it gives a good signal,so i'm thinking there must be a lot of metal under my garden,cheers.
