I have received a Sunpow ‎OT-MD05, I was wondering if it was any good?

Hello SmjUk, It rather depends upon what you expect of it.
Unfortunately it's not a machine I've heard of so personally I can't offer comment on it's capabilities. I doubt however, if it would meet my own expectations of a metal detector.

Regarding the machine you mention its not a leading brand of metal detector and its not one we have had any topics on here at the MDF... "I don't think"
However you mentioned you had already received the machine so its up to you to give it a good try and tell us how you got on

First time I've heard of it but the reviews on Amazon seem OK.

Its basically a chinese detector that is made to look supremely good in the wording in the advert,but alas its something that i would not recommend to anyone if i am honest......it may do you for a starter machine but please dont expect great things from it.

The equipment that you get with it especially the collapsible spade will bend and fold possibly as early as the 1st time that you go out,they are that rubbish.

Good luck with your new detector and hope it performs well for you but please dont expect much performance from it.
