Wirefree headphones.

Post by Blueboy »

I have an old detector that I want to use with wireless headphones, I did a search but a lot of the topics on this are quite old now & so the products/links dont work.

I think I need a transmitter to plug into detector, any recommendations please & would my Equinox headphones be able to find the transmitter or do I need headphones as well.

Suppose a kit combined of both transmitter & headphones may be the way to go but not sure whats available. Thanks for any help .

Thanks rex123 for the info but a bit more than I want to pay as will not use it very much at all.
Hopefully there is a more economic method.

Hi. I converted my old Garrett ace 250 to wireless. My first efforts failed due to too much lag with the headphones pinging a second or two after sweeping a target. Then after research I realised both transmitter and headphones need to have something called Aptx low latency built in. This does work well. I bought both transmitter and headphones on Amazon for less than £20 Hope this helps.
