Heloooo!

I was down there last week. Found a silver Calvin Klein watch which was a fluke, because it was just lying on a dune!

Completely crap actually on the beach though. Must have been about 12 detectorists down there. Did you see the tracks along the beach? Well apparently, a tractor dredges the beach early in the morning and late at night, with this huge filter type thing.

How cheeky is that?

Anyhow, don't do the dunes. It's just ring pulls and disposable barbecues!

All the rubbish caught in the trap has got to go somewhere.

My thinking is that a local farmer has contacted the council, saying that he would be willing to "clean" the beach with his tractor/filter. They'd agree to this, and Mr farmer gets digs on anything nice and shiny that may turn up in his filter...

It's a relatively well kept and clean beach (unlike Folkestone beach) anyway, so there wouldn't be too much junk for him to have to filter through.
