Garrett Pro pointer is a gem on beaches and always double check spoil and hole with them as I have found multiple items where my old pointer would miss most things unless it touched off them.

Yea as others have said the pro pointer works good on the beach on wet or dry sand. Garrett has built into its circuitry the ability to self adjust to the ground conditions and as it only has to have 2 inch max strength its up to the job no problem. I have used mine on the wet sand a good bit with the scoop to check i am targeting the right area and the waterproofing in it comes in very handy. [:)
