Z lynk charging

I've invested in the garrett z link wireless headphones and they seem to be taking hours to recharge. This is the first charge since coming out of the box. They connect and work fine but instructions say 5 hours and they have been charging for about 8 hours and lights are still illuminated. Any advice wood be appreciated.

The first charging of the Z-Lynk system may take longer than expected for a full charge depending on the output power from the charging source i.e. USB plug in charger or integral wall socket outlet. The socket USB outlet is usually around 2-3A charging current and in my case the Z-lynk only takes around couple of hours to charge after a normal 8 hour detecting session.

After 11 hours on the charger the lights have gone out. So roll on a bit better weather to go test new toy. Thanks for your reply
