Emits a single long continuous tone ?

My pro find 40 just emits a single long continuous tone when on.I have tried factory reset.I have also tried changing the battery.Nothing seems to work.

Mine is doing the same and I've only used it twice now the buttons don't work I have to take the battery out to switch it off.
