Gold Maxx Power coil 38x45cm

Hi!
ELLIPTICAL DISC 38 x 45 cm 18 KHZ (For GOLD MAXx POWER)
Is it true it is recommended to sweep about 10 centimeters from the ground for proper use??
Can anyone who has this coil confirm this?

Hi, since 2021 I've been searching solely with the 38 x 45 cm coil on my Goldmaxx. I like the depth it reaches. Only negative point is that it is harder to locate the smaller objects. A pinpointer is a must.
I always learned that you should detect with your coil as close as possible to the ground.
