XP WS5 Headphones fix required

Hello! I have just joined MDF and his is my first post. I was wondering if anyone has attempted to replace the bridging wire that links one headphone speaker to the other on XP WS5 Headphones and has any tips on doing so. I have intermittent operation on one speaker which slight movement of the other corrects. Obviously a poor electrical contact in the wiring somewhere.

It's on my list of things that I need to do in order to fix up my poorly WS5's. I've got a few things to do before I get to that bit, though you can follow my progress in the thread: viewtopic.php?f=239&t=156132
