Hello

March time go detecting at the new permission, located at Sperring Mountain’s.Field is a part of 650 acres hill farm.
Usual find’s From Georgian,Edwardian,Victorian era plus modern finds.
After couple hours of detecting , receive solid signal at 10 inch deep.
Half groat Robert The Second King of Scotland minted between 1370 to 1391 , minted in Perth.
Found with a Minelab CTX 3030.
Solid signal. Range 12/25
Used patterns. Everything is cut off below 22 line
Recovery. Deep
Fast recovery. Off
Sensitive manual. Plus 3 over ctx. proposal, 20
Separation Ground-coin

Place around has Scottish settlement history, well maybe
Was lost by merchant’s, field is beside old road which can take You to the north or south of island, nearby bridge and forest is a great place for stay overnight,and get some rest for people and horses.

Very nice - we don't see many of these in the forum. Sounds like the site has an interesting history - possibly Scottish settlers etc. - great research and ID [81/] Hopefully there will be more!

Good morning

At the minute olny this pewter ingot can be related to the coin , whatever is there is deep enough, Ctx just can’t reach it .

Field was last ploughed in 1947 , with Grey Ferguson tractor , nearly sure this is same one sitting in the barn
Half mile up the road, build in 1943 .
