Nokta Pulse Dive - Permission to Detect in open water ?

Nokta Pulse Dive - Permission to Detect in open water ?
A quick question please - Regarding a Nokta Pulse Dive. Now we’re allowed to metal detect (normally without permission) on the Foreshore. That’s between high and low tide limits. So I’m presuming that we still need permission from The Crown Estate to detect in open water ??
