Collar ?

Hi

Found this odd object today, copper alloy with a separate collar which could be white metal(?) comes from an area where I find older objects, but, who knows.

Any ideas please.

A thought has crossed my mind that it might simply be the top of a fairly modern powder flask?
If it is difficult you are doing it wrong
