Very nice Roman coin - Aemilian AR antoninianus?

Your coin i have no idea...i would soak it in olive oil for a few weeks...will take some of the crud off without damaging the coin

Here is something copied and pasted about Griffens on buttons
Griffen on Duke's crown(c)

Person of noble nature, strength, bravery, and alertness; or one who is high-spirited, ingenious, quick-witted, and judicious; "True magnanimity and strength of mind" acc. to Guillim.
If wings "displayed," it signifies protection
