Found this the other day and have no idea what it it maybe WW 2? WW 1?

at a educated guess this appears to be a Napoleonic eagle ...I would guess from a uniform
what depth did you get this at ? and what other stuff did you get from your outing ?

What Ho chap,
Well it was about six inches down but the only find of its kind there was a musical brooch as well but it is modern Victorian one re the local FLO.
It does look like a military badge cap or some decoration but I cannot trace anything similar online.

I would expect it to have some sort of legend if it was w11 military looks older to me
