advice please

first of all .iwould like to say that i am gratefull for all the advice that i have had of people on this forum. many thanks .my queston is ive been on a shale beach on and off for about 8 months .i dont go every week but when i find a coin its about 4 to 5 inches down under the pebbles and a bit of dirt . ive set my g2 on 100 sens and 26 disc .i know im picking up ring pulls ect ive got usted to the tones on my machine any thing over 50 i dig so what im asking is would those setings be any good for say pasture .the reason im asking is people say set it on this or this which i am gratefull for . am i just lucky to happen to go over these objects the reason im asking is when im on the fields i set it on 100 sens and 35 and nothing so should i leave it on 26 when im on the fields or by leaving it on 26 will it be rubbish all the time sorry to go a bit and thank you all once again andrew g ps sorry to be a pain but with me if its a high tone i dig ta take care will go down there tomorrow and come back with nothing now ive had a moan o well thanks again andrew g . Sorry Andrew but thats why I love the Ace, its so simple. I've thought of moving 'up' but I'm intimidated by the techno-babble and all those numbers =)) =)) =))

Andrew do you only dig signals 50 and above. You have dug up a lot more coins than me I sometimes wonder what you were right and was doing wrong.
The small Roman I've found have been been around the 48 mark but a scratchy signal. One hammered I found was coming up at 44 I nearly didn't dig it but it was a sweet signal. Experiment with it dig stuff you wouldn't normality.
If you have any spare funds Nel coils are soon to be sold by a couple of UK detecting shops.
