Explorer noise cancelling...

Post by Beany_bot »

Hi all,

I've read and studied the QuickStart section of the explorer manual a dozen times before I head out today. But there is just one question before I get cracking.

When you noise cancel the detector (automatically by pressing the button) do you do it with the coil on the ground, a bit above the ground, in the air or where? They only thing it says in the manual is to not move the coil during the process.

Hi Beany...find a clear patch of ground and put coil onto the ground press noise cancel
and wait until the end beep to announce noise cancel completed.
Remember as you go from field to field to re- noise cancel again as ground could well be different...cheers PaulB. B-)
