Just like to say how enjoyable it has been talking to you people tonight about the deus, unlike sometime last year when some of us who were tring to help got flack from doubters etc...

Standby for more mate, after the hammering jim_mids gave me last week with his Deus II against my X-Terra 505 I'll be out to upgrade hopefully in the next couple of months!

No argument there mate, the 505's done me proud with a brilliant findrate but the Deus is a way faster recovery rate which will perform far better on some of the really trashy fields I work, it clearly outshines on depth too plus I'm a chronic osteoarthritic & the weight difference will mean I'm not spending 24 hours in agony after a session.............a nobrainer really

I too had the 70 with 7.5 kHz DD before getting the Deus last July. Had 5 gold, including a stater and full gold angel, plus around 40 hammered since. Any one who doubts the ability of the Deus needs their heads testing. Best money I ever spent.....cheers Alex
