two separate dumps close to where I live (20 min walk). yeah the hamilton(torpedo) is nice.heavy crude embossed lettering all over it as well. few broken ones before it popped out though lol. got some clay pipe bowls celebrating Victorias coronation out of the one with the blue poison bottles as well.
If I can put the detector down for a day will go back for a more in depth dig :)

Nice finds indeed. Both the Stotherts bowler (round bottomed cylinder) & the torpedo are probably 1890-1910 but I'm guessing not from the same dump due to the condition of the glass? Not sure where you are, but if the Stotherts is local to you then I'd certainly concentrate on that dump. Their stone ginger beer bottles are highly sought after and in good nick probably worth £100-150 each ::g

Yeah the torpedo one came from diff tip than rest. It was in a boggy area of the tip so think that may be why it's cloudy glass. Nice tactile bottle. There was a lot of glass and broken ginger beer bits around as well so going to be worth a day or two digging indeed. If it ever stops raining here in Scotland lol. That and I'm finding it hard to put the detector down lol
