18ct gold + plat i think

hello all i had a nice gold ring today with 18ct stamp and it has plat stamped in it i think the face of the ring is made from platinum :-/
it 6" or so down and i found it using my whites pi md :D :D

.....Nice result!!!!!!!!! I built a Whites P.I. 'clone', (kit from Silverdog, Google it!!) and it works nice and deep,... trouble is, my permission hasn't been touched before, and there is only so many screws/nails/shotty carts/bits of plough that you need!!!!!!! =))
{I'll take it on holiday with me, and use it for the beach!!!!}
