Re: Brean Beach Token Spill
Nice amount of finds for how long you were out, was that a sweet spot on the beach or just random searching?

I had a spill of 7 x 50p's next to a bum print last night![]()
Now there's a coincidence........I got into bed last night and found 4 pound coins next to my wifes bum cheek. I thought I was being paid for once.......turns out they were from my 3 year olds purse

She was counting her pennies on our bed before she went to her own bed.
Oh well.....

Ive just got back from Brean sands,Thought i would go on the beach with my Md. Found loads of coins, all new,but grotty,1st signal=20 mins digging and sifting FOUND A HOARD. 2 pound coins,15- 1p's, 4- 20p's, 9- 2 p's, 6- 5ps and a hair clip all in one spot. The Ferret wrote:We went to Brean Beach to take the dog for a walk for a couple of hours and thought id take the md. Here are the finds for a couple of hours work. I did manage to find a “Token spill” (3 in one hole). These are used for Brean leisure Park rides so the kids will be happy <:-P <:-P lol Also picked up the 2012 new 5p which gave me an iffy iron Signal
Cheers
TF
2nd signal 2 Tent pegs, 3rd signal a silver Toe ring, very easy to bend, but silver nevertheless.
Then my highlight of the day, which i thought was a ring pull, that shape, but its silver with hammer marks on it,very thin but really hard to try to bend it. The more i look at it the more i'm sure its got a head shape on it,could it be a hammered?. i will try to post pictures of the ring and the "hammered" when i figure out how to do it.
My last signal scared me, when i dug about 3 foot down in the sand i hit metal, cylinder shape, dont know how big it was, but with all the bombs that dropped there in WW2, i thought it was a mortar, filled the hole in and marked the spot, told the beach warden, he said leave it with him, which i did, then i came home to Wakefield next morning, not knowing what it was that id found, couldnt get off that beach quick enough to tell you the truth.
