Junk or not to junk?!

Post by Vultan »

Hi Guys,

Had very quiet weekend in respect of finding history, although did come up with some bits which I need your guidance on.

Axe head maybe?!
Stone bottom left was signalling as coinage? no idea what it is?
Top middle, looks like rim of something but again was showing as coin?!
Coin is 1964 penny!
underneath coin looks like top part of a cross with patten but on back has clip (like a zip), any ideas????
two items below this have me totally dumbfounded?! (in 2nd & 3rd pic)
musket ball perhaps?!
buttons with no patten???
buckle maybe??????
and for the jokers...the 20p is for reference! :P

All finds....

Also, can I just check would the buttons be lively (is that how u spell it?) ones?!

Any other info mucho appreciato!

Pic to right of 20 is a very old shotgun cartrage just blown apart by the looks and the buttons would have a crest/pattern if they Livery buttons those you have look (not the best pics) like tombac to me.

Interesting selection of find, Vultan. I think that is def a piece of a zipper, I once had one break on me just like that one. If each of those items could speak for themselves they'd say... why oh why did you have to dig me up... only kidding, honest. :))
Will I? Won't I? What kind of silly question is that?
