good good. Average so far is around 4 hours. I put around the same amount of time into it per session. Hopefully this Will answer a few question's to those new to beach detecting to give an idea of the time put in and Sometimes come away with nothing but junk but Can Sometimes hit a hot spot after 3 hours. I've seen a few people come onto the beach tectin and within half an hour are gone lol.

If i wish to search the wet sand i get there one hour before the mean low water and work the tide up to half tide.If on the dry sand can stay there all day depends on the amount of people about.I have been know to spend eight hours at night on the dry sand. (:| (:| (:| (:| ::g

4 to 5 hours usually, try to get out 2 hrs before low and follow it down or into any interesting looking spots that appear.

Hi,

I spend on average about 6 hours.. But I have done 10!

Last beach outing was a funny one for finds.. 5 hours good hunting and I found nothing but a big ouch of junk! So... Time for a coffee and some food... Marked up where I had got to, 45mins later I was back... Within 1hour I had over 50 coins... 3 old dimes, a lovely gold ring and a 925 big earring!

It shows you, put the time in and be patient and you'll get the finds :-)

My passion is history and old stuff... But I live the fun of the beach!
Detecting since 1987 at the tender age of 11...
CTX 3030 and MineLab Pro-Find 25.
Travel the country for good detecting spots & always happy to meet new people :-)
