It looks a bit like the Queen Anne one on that web link, and its rare.PaulR wrote:Mmmm wondering if the A under the crown is queen Anne ?
For anyone interested i had an id on it
An 18th century copper-alloy one-ounce trade weight of Queen Anne, showing the following verification marks:
1. A ewer - The London Founders' Company mark (6 o'clock)
2. The sword of St Paul - the City of London Guildhall mark (1 o'clock)
3. Crown over ’A’ - the royal cypher (11 o'clock)
4. 'A' for Averdepois - the trade weight system (4 o'clock)
Date range 1702 - 1714
Chuffed me.
The bigger one is more modern.
