at pro control box cover

Were can I get a box cover for the at pro? I no its waterproof but would like to stop the screen scratching

Hi.
You can't as there isn't one in existence. Its purely down to as you say waterproof plus the casing is made of tough plastic. You would of thought that they would of produced one just to help with the resale value

you could always use them clear plastic screen things you can get for mobile phones they do work or will at least stop scratches

Thanks guys I want sure if they did sell them or not its shame as with all metal detectors and being out in the fields they can easy get scratched:-( its ok now as its new and would like to keep it in as new condition if possible av been told good idea is to buy a iPad cover and cut it to fit as they are pretty big and would even av some left over for future use

You can get them from a well known auction site as I got one for my at pro, they are excellent quality & a good fit, the seller is from Russia & it cost me around £9.50 inc postage, the seller does not currently have any for sale but I am sure if you messaged them they could supply you one.

I made 2 covers for our AT's.

One from a converted Teknetics G2 cover, the other from a mans bathroom set carry case!

Basically, both have thick, pliable clear plastic over the top of the control box with woven fabric going around the side of the control box about 2 cm.... then simply taped in position with insulation tape.

Looks extremely neat and tidy and can be removed without leaving any marks. Stops any scratching of the screen and buttons from grubby fingers.

Only negative is that it doesn't protect the sides of the box.
