Is this part of an anti-aircraft shell? ID Confirmed shell

Hi folks.....to you ordnance experts, Im thinking this is part of a shell, is the white stuff phospherous? and which part of the shell would this be......detonator? I take it that if it is a shell it is made of brass?

Found this about 10 inches down on stubble today......thanks

Nice one.... thanks Sado81....there was an anti-aircraft battery close by to our permission during the second world war, about 3-4 miles as the crow flys. Guess these could have been fired from there as the Luftwaffe were making there way to Liverpool. Previous post/ topic gives some good detail thabk you.
