Sorry Andy, that may be my fault I was on there yesterday and cleared 26 coins (£3.47) and loads of junk off the South Beach. There were no hot spots they were scattered all over the place.

You will be pleased to know I was not at Barmston so Good Hunting ::g

Hi Andy, I went across on Saturday with Ray(Machinist). He was using his pulse machine and I was using my Rutus which was all over the place on the salt ( it is so sensitive it really needs an outing on land).

I only pulled out a few pence and lots of crap. Was plagued with falsing. Very frustrating.

Anyway, My new Pulse machine should be here for next weekend.

If you fancy a seesion let me know, Ray and I will be meeting up weekend after next and you are welcome to come along.

Cheers

Brian

Your welcome to tag along - I will let you know nearer the time.

I have gone for one listed on ebay. It is crosssbow classic. Ray bought one too! I think they have all gone, they sold very quickly

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 0842439870

The are custom built by a well respected MD designer ( his website is http://www.geotech1.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;). He sent me details and manual before I bought.

Hi Ray, don't think they will be available for long ... when you consider the new Cscope Cs4pI is about £250 - 300 it seems an awesome machine for the money

Even with a pulse The East coast is to sanded in at the moment, I had to work hard for £3.90 at Brid today, I checked a few beachs on the way home from Whitby yesterday, and they are the same. Just need some rough weather to turn things round.

Be interesting to see how you get on with the new PI, I only use Pulse on the beach, but if you have not tried one before you wont believe just how many hairgrips can get lost on Bridlington beach! lol. Also as you head towards Fraisthorpe Iron can be a pain, They use to just demolish the old beach huts and burn them on the beach

Be interested in how you get on with Crossbow it looked all-right and I think the price was very good....
It arrives today, so I will give it a roadtest and let you know how it goes over the weekend.
