Finds from yesterday.

Old cross came up from under a stone? Could It be ancient? Celtic?

Looks like you're getting some interesting finds there mate. Any chance you can get some clearer pics up, that cross looks very interesting, would Love to have a proper look at it.

Looks like a harness pendant. Is there a suspension loop at the pointy end :D ?

Thanks It does have a suspension loop that is too small for a chain. So it might well be. Not as old as I thought then but still dead chuffed.

Nice finds Brian I went to beach with Filey lad yest shock horror got back towards car police by car thought someone had crashed into my Cherokee I was lucky tree had fallen down across road just in front of car no damage bloody close shave .
Just usual decimal coins

I was thinking the same as Allectus that the other artefact was a bag seal but they are usually lead that one looks the wrong colour or is it just stained?

Never had a bag seal so dont know how soft the lead is? This is not that soft. but is lead in colour :-/

As somebody else said the Pendant is Medieval , may have been enameled , But has since lost all trace, Glad your car is ok Nev, I sent a PM to your son to watch out for landslips a couple days ago, Hopeing to get up there early boxing day.
