marsh search

Post by russ 1 »

hey all I,m off to a local marsh soon and would,nt mind a bit of advice on what to expect.A farmer lost a gold watch there over 25 years ago as he tried to hitch a chain onto a tractor to pull it out. What sort of signal could a gold watch give after all that time under marsh grass mud and a foot of water most of the time? I fancy using my 4pi as its got good depth and don,t worry about water and minerals etc or should I use a land detector, any thoughts? it,ll be a hell of a job whatever, ::g ::g
