Ive seen something similar to your first pic......turned out to be a casket mount or decoration.....you near a church?.......

If i remember correctly its part of a medieval design and was used on caskets for decoration.....
Of course i could be talking complete nonsense after wandering around a field all day and driving nearly 5 hours in total.... =))

You ID'd one for me Bruce a while back, it is a cross crosslett mount 16th-19th century, "as you say for a casket" i think they lined the inside if i can remember.

Hi Dazza, second one looks like the outer part of an earing clip. Fourth one is Victorian and perhaps military. Not much I know, but it looks like an interseting selection overall. Well done. :)
