I had to work today, so had a break from beach digging, As Nev says some of the clay areas are a waste of time, I have spent hours just taking out small fragments of lead stuck a few mm deep in the clay. Over the years some of the clay was probably very well searched by eyes only beachcombers, May sound silly, but never underestimate the skill some of the oldtime beach hunters had, Most of my best areas on beachs came from people who did this before the metal detector. Think i am dragging Mark out for a look tomorrow, But not certain where we are going to end up. This week could be interesting with some high winds from the North forecast later in the week ::g
