XP Deus Warranty ?

hello just got my deus today do you have to register for the warrenty? or just keep the manuel

when my headphones went wrong, i just went in regtons with my receipt (deus not bought from regtons) and they were fine about it.

Just keep your purchase receipt, I recommend that you scan or photocopy it as well because some receipts (thermally printed ones) fade quite quickly & you can sometimes be left with a near blank piece of paper.

as far as I am aware the reason that Regton's helped you out is because Regton's have the contract with XP and other makes too and they supply all the smaller outlets in otherwords all the other metal detecting shops in the UK apart from Joan Allen who also have several contracts with the likes of Minelab and as far as I am aware Joan Allen are the main dealers who supply all the other shops too

I'm sure any minute now I am going to get bombarded with people trying to prove me wrong here but my info came from one of the smaller but well recognised dealers in the UK who told me that this was the case because if you were to send back it to the place that you bought it from then they would then have to send it on to Regton and then the same process after getting it fixed Regton would then send it back to the place where you bought it and then they would send it back to you and this is both a long winded process and a time consuming one as well

you did the correct thing by going directly to regton with your problem and reciept
