Filey Beach Boys eat your heart out! how the Welsh roll!!

Post by MidasTouch »

Evening All,

Right!! i thought it was time to fight back against the Filey Beach boys who are practically falling over their finds :D :D ::g ::g As i had a day off, I decided to fight back and show you how we roll down where dragons roam!.

I set off for Borth beach and after 4 hours i came up with this super haul, i think we all agree this is what all detectorists should aspire too. I know this is a bit show off but i felt i needed to do/show it off!

As you can see in the picture there are so many items, for ease of identification i have added an index for you:

Image

1 x old needle

I think i have made my point..... >:P WHAT i have never laughed so hard all week =)) =)) =)) at least it made me smile, what more can i ask for, crisp day on beach with my ace, my thoughts and a twix!

Hope you enjoy the find 8-} , i think we need more people to come to Wales please so my kids, kids will have something to find :)

Sometimes you just don't find ANYTHING!

Midas (smiling from ear to ear)

Side note ( i think the Ace 250 is great on wet, not sure how deep i get but it does work trimmed out to sensitivity 3/4, so do not be put off by people saying it is useless on the wet)
There are many like it, but this one is mine, it's my PRECIOUS!!

Haha great post. My 4 screws and a ring pull from the beach the other day now seems like a horde.

We get days on the East Riding Yorkshire beachs where we still get finds , But we drop them in the 1st bin on the way back to the carpark! lol. Think thats why i love beachs and watersites, always unpredictable. ::g

I vote for this find being the find of the month, if not the year. Shows real dedication and great technique to find such an item, especially outside of it's normal haystack 'habitat'.
