To save hassle of threading cable through stem can I simply unscrew connector at coil on my 8x6 SEF and put my 18 x 15 SEF in its place using same lead? Been swapping over but thought why not use same lead? Will it be ok are the leads and connectors the same?

Hi
I dont think there are connectors on the coil itself
I think it is just a strain relief and the wires are soldered inside it, and if this is a case I wouldnt recommend unscrewing the bottom of the lead from the coil, but I could be wrong
