deus lite questions

Post by jimbotrucker »

Hi, I love my adx 250 but am thinking of going up to a deus. I can not afford the full kit but could push to the lite with the ws5 headphones. how much controll can I expect from the ws5's & is their a benefit from paying extra against the ws4's. I know this is a subject loads are interested in & at £725 it is still quite an outlay of cash so I don't want to rush & cock up

As far as I am aware the ws5's have no more control over the 4's just a slightly larger display. If I am honest in my opinion the 4's are fantastic, you don't know you are wearing anything after 30 seconds and don't interfere with wearing a cap.

Best option the 4's then getting some chefphones for the wintery windy days.

I have both sets.
While I like the back phones they just stay in the bag since the headset became available.
The sounds are crystal clear and very definable with the WS5's. ::g Jerry.

The lite is an amazing bit of kit, you will most likely get the erge to buy a control box int he future though as there are some more advanced settings you can adjust, I currently have the backphones but also bought some Chefphones CP6 so i ahve the best of both worlds, the CP5 the cotnrol box is a fixed onyl option, so you cant wear it on your arm or in a pocket, like you can with the WS4's controller.

Hoep that helps

Hi jimbo, when i purchased the deus lite, i bought the control box version .i,e no ws4,s. plug in the xp wired back phones and away you go, hung the control box around my neck in a plastic case on a lanyard, easy as wink to check out signals, cost me about £100 more than the light headphones version, but still a decent saving on full version...i,ve since bought the ws4,s bought not such a big outlay as buying the controller at a later date...hh...BAZ
