Salt burn beach

Post by shoveller »

In the summer im going to a uncles birthday do thingy. Where my cousin lives is 10 mile from Salt burn beach, shes took a keen interest in my detecting and i suggested going on the beach for a laugh, is this beach okay to detect on? Ive never done beach detecting before, i imagine digging lots of crap, fishing weights, cans, ringpulls etc but worth a go, and will my xterra 705 be okay for the job ? Ta

Im 5 mins away from this and go plenty. Its ok, but not great. Plenty sea fishing weights in winter. If you hit it right theres plenty of loose change, i pulled £15 one weekend. Found a couple of rings here too, was with botto from here twice now and both times he pulled a cracking gold ring out.
